Megafun
is a company based around a combination of permanent staff and a core
group of freelance individuals whose work covers a multitude of
disciplines.
Those involved have a wealth of experience in their respective fields, and bring to the Megafun projects a wide range of skills, expertise and enthusiasm. |

With a solid background in the arts and entertainment, Keith has long been involved in large scale theatrical performances and events, as well as developing a significant body of work in the field of interactive multimedia. After 15 years of technical and design work in theatre (Australian Dance Theatre), exhibitions (Tandanya - Aboriginal Cultural Institute) and events (Adelaide Fringe Festival), Keith expanded into the design and development of hands–on interactive experiences. This resulted in a series of major touring exhibitions (Megafun with Computers and Powerplay) which toured throughout the world and were visited by over one million people.

Mikkel has toured the world extensively providing technical support for a multitude of projects including theatre events and interactive installations.
He was technical director for the Commonwealth Games and FINA Cultural Festivals. Mikkel also provides in-house CAD services. |

After completing studies in Theatre Production at Charles Sturt University, Emma freelanced as a stage manager in Melbourne, working with various theatre companies including Playbox Theatre and Chamber Made Opera.
This led to Production Management of large scale events including Moomba in 1999, State Schools Spectacular in 1999 and 2001, The Victorian Federation Parade 2001.
Emma also had the opportunity to tour many parts of Asia with Disney Special Events. The highlight of this work was as Stage Co-ordinator for the 2003 Hong Kong ‘Harbourfest’. Emma worked with bands such as the Rolling Stones, Prince and Air Supply. In 2004 Emma joined Megafun and has Project Managed Eat the City and Yarra Array 2004 for the City of Melbourne. Most recently she production managed Festival Melbourne 2006 for the Commonwealth Games and the Festival for the 2007 World FINA Championships. |

Carly is a graduate of the VCA and is particularly skilled in Stage Management.
Carly commenced with Megafun in 2003 and has been stage manager for a multitude of projects, including the Commonwealth Games River event, the FINA Cultural Festival and innumerable tours of dance and theatre. She has taken on Production Management roles for many international tours of projects such as the Spaghetti Western Orchestra and Lucy Guerin Dance Company which has taken her all over the world, including Singapore, Korea, the USA, Canada, France, Germany and the UK. |

Brock has been with Megafun for over 2 years. Her main focus is the City of Melbourne’s Laneway Commissions. She has been project manager for 2006 and 2007 seasons. She also undertakes other duties as required.
Prior to Megafun, Brock was a production manager for Ten days on the Island festival in Tasmania, stage manager for Circus Oz, toured Australia with the Olympic Torch in 2000 and has had an ongoing relationship with Melbourne International Arts Festival for the past 10 years in various capacities. She has been featured in Australian Jeweller Magazine and her photography has been used on CD covers. |

Ros joined the company in February 2008 as the General Manager. She has a background in Fine Arts and worked for many years managing her own ceramics studio in Melbourne and Perth. Ros was the inaugural Community Arts Officer with the City of Fremantle, Western Australia, later becoming the Cultural Development Co-ordinator and leading a team in the Community Development Unit.
She spent six and a half years working in the United Kingdom both freelance through her company Rosolutions Ltd as well as positions with the University of Plymouth. In addition to evaluation contracts she was the University’s Manager of Innovate – Centre for Creative Industries in the Faculty of Arts. Ros has significant experience in policy and program development as well as arts consultancy. |

Gene has a technial theatre background but has also worked on many events and festivals.
Fascinated by electricity Gene often takes things apart and is on occasion able to fix and reassemble them. He enjoys his coffee black with two sugars and talking about himself in third person. |

Carolyn has been with the company for 9 years, managing innumerable large scale international events as well as local and interstate projects. Carolyn speaks fluent French and was operations director for the Commonwealth Games River Event. Carolyn now splits her time between Australia and France. |
