Melbourne Museum
Welcome Map
Megafun won the tender to produce a permanent foyer exhibit that greets visitors to the Melbourne Museum and introduces visitors to both the Museum and to the State of Victoria.
Built from a complex of seemingly random placed columns the map reveals itself as a three dimensional outline of Victoria at the entry point to the Museum.
The Welcome Map features 56 showcases set within 4.5 metre high rectangular poles, each telling a story about a particular Victorian region. These poles are designed to be moved to make room for functions.

A Maze N'Things
A Maze N'Things is a themed puzzle park on Phillip Island. In 2002 Megafun and A Maze N'Things joined forces to develop a major new extension for the park which was subsequently called Puzzle Island.
Puzzle Island is a 400 square metre themed indoor activity centre, incorporating: puzzles, illusions, interactives, models, mazes and even a giant slide.
Megafun handled all of the design and development work, and conceived and delivered all of the electronic and mechanical interactives. The park's attendance has increased substantially since the extension opened in 2004 and the response has been enthusiastic!

Sewer Tour
The Sewer Tour was Megafun's first interactive to be presented at the Melbourne Museum.Installed in 1999 and still going strong, this interactive has proved to be enormously popular as it allows people to investigate Melbourne's Sewer System in photographic detail while going on a roller coaster ride from bathroom to settling pond.
The Sewer Tour received a Highly Commended in the 2000 American Museum Association's MUSE awards and was the starting point for Megafun's specialty in photo-realistic fly-though interactives.Megafun has created a number of water themed interactive displays and exhibits for Melbourne Water. Much of this work is on display as part of a screen based interactive incorporated into the Discovery Centre in the foyer of the Western Treatment Plant in Werribee.
